Art continually inspires me, I think it can start open and honest conversations drawing out different emotions & help us experience living in the moment. In making this new artwork for Uillinn's 2025 Members and Friends Exhibition, I took a bit of time to gather my thoughts. Artists were invited to reflect on this year's theme - Uillinn / Angle, exploring the concept of perspective both literal and conceptual, and how differing angles influence how we see and interpret the world.

With a textiles background | love texture & pattern, drawing repetitive angles to create a form is a something that I become absolutely absorbed in. Mystified by the beauty of dance artists, the angles and form they take in their interpretations, I've made this piece. As my work is very much inspired by People & Place it felt right to make a work around the people of Uillinn, the artists I have seen, met & the young people I have seen grow and transformed through the art of dance.
