‘Balanced Growth’ is one of the first in a series of explorative works combining textiles and illustration. This piece was shown in ‘The Fibre of our Being’ exhibition in Kilcoe Studies Summer 2023. The exhibition consisted of work by 15 craftspeople, artists and businesses who all work sustainably and in creative ways using Irish wool, Irish Linen and also working with heritage crafts. It was held as was part of the series of events exploring contemporary textiles which looked at tradition, current textile production and sustainability.

‘Paper Art’ seemed to be a natural evolution from forming and folding fabric into sculptural works which I developed early in my creative journey. Paper Cut artworks have become a special feature of my work. ‘Entangled’ is a recent experimental piece of work which has been inspired by the natural beauty of West Cork.
